Welcome to Step Up Music Theatre School !!
I am
Nathalie Richardson GGSM, the Principal and vocal coach for the Step Up
schools. I began the Step Up Music Theatre School in September 1996,
after a hugely successful Summer School. What began as one school has
since expanded to multiple theatre schools and a series of after school clubs. This website covers our weekend and evening theatre schools. If you are interested in our after school clubs then please visit www.stepupafterschoolclubs.co.uk.
My schools are not franchised and my small team of teachers are
involved in all the Step Up schools. This has enabled us to retain a
very warm, personal atmosphere in each school and maintain a consistent
and high quality tuition for all our students.
I know every
student in every school and the Step Up team has always aimed to ensure
each school develops a course that is specific to the individual
talents within that school.
I graduated
as an opera singer from the Guildhall School of Music but I have since
performed many different styles of singing. All the teachers at the
schools are highly qualified from well-known establishments in the
country.
As well as
offering the best tuition available our aim is to increase the
confidence of the students through performance and prepare all students
for a tough industry. All the students have a great time in a
disciplined and structured environment.
